Privacy Policy

BrandMyGwagon.com (the "Site") is operated by Materia Ventures LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect information only when you place a bid, we use it only to run the sponsorship campaign, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
Browsing the Site requires no account and collects no personal information from you directly. When you submit the bid form, we collect:
- Contact and company details: company name, your full legal name, email address, and phone number.
- Bid details: the placement you selected and your bid amount.
- Your logo file as uploaded.
- Signature records: your typed or drawn signature, a timestamp, your IP address, and a SHA-256 receipt hash of the submission. These exist to make your electronic signature verifiable, as described in the Bid Agreement.
How we use it
- To evaluate and respond to your bid, maintain the campaign's funding book, and perform the Bid Agreement.
- To contact you about your bid and, if the campaign succeeds, to invoice and deliver sponsorship obligations.
- To verify the integrity of signed bids (the hash, timestamp, and IP records).
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without asking you first.
Where it lives
The Site is hosted on Netlify, and bid submissions are stored in Netlify Forms on our account. Netlify processes this data as our service provider under its own privacy terms. When you sign a bid, your browser requests your public IP address from api.ipify.org so it can be sealed into your receipt; that request goes directly from your browser. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives standard request data such as your IP address.
Cookies
The Site does not set tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
Retention
We keep bid records, including signature records, for as long as needed to administer the campaign and to satisfy legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, then delete them.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may request to know what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, and you will not be treated differently for exercising those rights. Note that we may retain signature records where the law allows, since they document a contract. To exercise any right, email sponsors@brandmygwagon.com and we will respond within the time required by law.
Children
The Site is a business-to-business offering and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to how bid data is handled will be emailed to active bidders.
